Happy Place, Happy Space

We revisited a running route nearby. It takes us up and down a slope on Peirce Road good for repeats.
Peirce Road doesn’t lead anywhere but offers lovely greenery as well as large houses which are gawk-worthy.

A good place for our morning run.
Loving Husband making his way back up Peirce Road.
we ran through Dempsey Hill on the way to and back from Peirce Road Loving Husband’s sharp eyes spotted this little critter. Anyone know its name?

I guess it really will be a to-ing & a fro-ing with re-lockdowns. We are just coming out of ours, very cautiously.

That looks like an insect we have here and it’s called a Stink Bug…and it does stink if squished.

Yes! That name does sound familiar! Thank you for naming the little critter!

I am glad you have been able to get out and about..even though masks make it harder for exercise. Denyse #weekendcoffeeshare

Thanks so much for popping in Denyse!
You are right – running with a mask is challenging. Loving Husband got us special exercise masks with vents so that’s what we’ve been using for the past couple of years. Actually, he got them way before this pandemic because several months each year, our air quality deteriorates because of haze from burning – so we used to wear them during those times.

Such beautiful greenery, Ju-Lyn. I read about Dempsey Hill and found the connections between Mr. Demsey and Canadian troops in WW2. Thank you for including my post and linking with #weekendcoffeeshare.

Insects rule the world, seems like. We thought it very pretty although we don’t know it’s name either!
