The Changing Seasons, March 2023

Reflecting on the month past

March has been filled with Younger Child’s many birthday celebrations (making up for all the missed gatherings in the last few years) as well as exploration of the Lavender/Jalan Besar area where she goes twice a week for rehearsals.

Here are some of the sights which have caught my attention while waiting for her:

intriguing art on the street, interesting people out & about, curious signs & sights

How was your March?

About The Changing Seasons

The Changing Seasons is a monthly project where bloggers around the world share their thoughts and feelings about the month just gone. We all approach this slightly differently, though generally with an emphasis on the photos we’ve taken during the month.

For many of us, looking back over these photos provides the structure and narrative of our post, so each month is different. Some focus on documenting the changes in a particular project — such as a garden, an art or craft project, or a photographic diary of a familiar landscape.

But in the end, it is your changing season, and you should approach it however works for you.

There are no fixed rules around post length or photo number — just a request that you respect your readers’ time and engagement.

  2. Wonderful clear bright pictures and happy birthdays. This is my birthday month too and only since blogging did I discover that I’m not the only person in the world with a birthday in March! When I was a child, EVERYONE had a birthday in the summer or fall — or near Christmas. I was the only one in March.

I’m noticing that people you your region still wear masks. Hardly anyone does around here anymore except in the hospital and some other medical facilities — and not even in all of them. Time has marched on!

    1. The world of a child is a marvellous wonder – appreciate the peek into your childhood.

Hope you’ve had the opportunity to celebrate your missed birthday on account of illness!

There is still some mask wearing in Singapore. Our family tends to be a little more cautious 😆😅

  3. A busy month for you. I love that you take advantage or your time while your daughter is in rehearsal. Street art is fun to come across, and I love seeing the man painting, and the sculpture of the dancers. I hope you have a nice April, Ju-Lyn.
