Happy Place, Happy Space

Rain threatened as we set out for one of our favourite weekend sanctuaries. It drizzled and teased but when we started running, it was just a tickle and with the overcast cloud cover, we had a pleasant and cool run.

Along our way, we were delighted to discover a newly installed sculpture: Perpetual Blooms by Han Sai Por (2022)

The different shades of hibiscus are quite beautiful! This white one is particularly stunning – I can well see why it’s a favourite!

I can imagine that running in a bit of mizzle could be quite refreshing, Ju-Lyn. Or a brisk walk, in my case….

I love hibiscus! I was very surprised to see them in Germany, too. I thought they were purely tropical.
