The Maestro plays on

Happy Place, Happy Space

We last visited Toa Payoh Town Park about a year ago. We ran through this delightful little park to the plaintive strains of the erhu played by a maestro.

We were delighted to hear The Maestro play again on this return visit.

I looked for an erhu video that came close to what The Maestro was playing but was not successful. I did, however, chance upon this video of a cover of a song I like very much that is played on the instrument.

  1. Thank you for including the video of the young man playing the erhu. What a haunting, beautiful sound. (I like Despacito too!). Now I can almost imagine the magical experience of hearing it echoing through the park. I very much appreciated the past photos of The Maestro too. Long may he bless the park’s visitors.

    1. So happy to delight in The Maestro and other musical matters with you; so interesting that apart from art, we gravitate to similar music as well. I feel joyful sharing with you who gets me.

  2. Ju-Lyn, Thank you for the mention and your weekend coffee share. Looks like a beautiful park and how wonderful that you could hear The Maestro play again.
