Reverie

Happy Place, Happy Space

We walked across to Sentosa Island (via the Sentosa Boardwalk) with friends a few weeks ago. The little that we saw (we were still recovering our breath from Covid so didn’t walk very far) made us determined to return. And return we did.

When I first encountered this sculpture by Victor Tan, “Reverie – Musical Journey” (2011) I was too busy chatting with our walking companions, but I did make a mental note to return to it.

After we stopped to spend some time with this delightful and exuberant artwork, we explored a small portion of the trail of the island. We will have to return yet again.

  1. I love returning to a delight (or mystery) I’d noticed once before. I think it makes the second visit especially nice — almost like turning an acquaintance into a friend! And this piece is lovely.

  2. Ju-Lyn, Thank you for the mention and your contribution to #weekendcoffeeshare. Reverie looks playful and fun. The trail is calling for new discoveries.
