Happy Place, Happy Space
Since I was driving Older Child to campus to run errands, I thought it might be fun for my parents to take a ride with us and enjoy the greenery of the Nanyang Technological University grounds.

We spent our time strolling at Nanyang Lake, enjoying the many water features. It was a pleasant opportunity for them to visit their grandchild’s university campus. We didn’t stay out long as the noon sun got the better of us.

When I saw the photo of the older couple sharing an intimate moment in such a beautiful setting, I imagined you and Loving Husband someday. How lovely to know that the couple was your parents! I hope you take us with you on your future outings with your parents.

They are certainly a model for gracious aging – they were both very active when younger and are still in relatively reasonable health. If not for the craziness of Covid, they would be zipping around the world. They leave for Penang-Ipoh next week to visit family – first trip since the pandemic; they are very excited!

It’s not a huge garden, but large enough for a pleasant walk and some quiet time. Thank you for hosting us for the Weekend Coffee Share!

I have to say I would much prefer the cooler European summer weather!!! Having said this, my London Aunt has reported that they are expecting temps to go up about 30 deg C!!! How is the weather where you are?

Two days ago, we also had 30 C. I am not complaining, honestly. But I know this is not a good sign for the world.
