Happy Place, Happy Space

We recently made Saturdays Pizza & Games Night in our household .This weekend, Older Child returned to join us in the fun.

Younger Child requested a game night as part of her month-long birthday celebrations; we decided to pair it with pizza as we had not made it for a while.
We have since decided to try to do this with some regularity as it was delicious & entertaining.

Your breakfast pizza looks so yummy. We have a small collection of games we take out when we have friends over. I think it’s a good mix of cards, building, and puzzles.

Thanks for this post! What a great tradition. Plus, the original pizza pairings look delicious.
I hope you and your family are well. Spring is here! Well, technically it is since we did get snow yesterday. π

I have never eaten pizza with egg on top. Your scrumptious looking photo has definitely made me want to try it!

I’ve never actually had one, Donna! we make it like this for Loving Husband, but I imagine the runny yolk too wet for my pizza. I don’t usually have my eggs sunny side up – I prefer over easy.

Funnily, I’ve never had one … although I sometimes like a runny yolk, the thought of all that moisture on my pizza is ….. hmmmm

Loving Husband was the first who asked for pizza with a sunny side egg cracked on top! I’d never heard of it before then either! But apparently it’s a thing – like in Pizza Florentine & Pizza Bismark.

We’ve expanded Game Night to include Grandparents occasionally now – they find it a hoot!

Because of the pandemic, we have become avid gamers. We really like cooperative board games where the players must work together. Even though the games can be a little pricey, we play them so often—every weekend—that they are actually affordable entertainment. Wonderful to include the grandparents.

We have always felt that games are worthwhile purchases, despite the cost. We don’t play board games quite as often as we prefer games which don’t take quite as long to conclude π
