contemplation, continued

Happy Place, Happy Space

I worked hard this week to focus on stillness, on each breath, each step, on the beauty obvious & hidden, on the lessons the universe might choose to teach.

My runs this week took me to this charming little playgarden twice: perhaps it was the sound of the gravel underfoot that drew me back; or the flowers in bloom with bees abound; or just the quietness of the surroundings. Whatever the reason, it was a peaceful place for thinking.

Where did you contemplate this week?

  1. Please keep your Contemplation series going. I breathe deeper and slower as I experience your reflections. This is so wonderful: “I worked hard this week to focus on stillness, on each breath, each step, on the beauty obvious & hidden, on the lessons the universe might choose to teach.” Beauty obvious & hidden. Lessons the universe might choose to teach. Yes.

  4. That looks like a nice little playground and a place, with no kids around, to sit in the quiet and contemplate whatever is on your mind. I tend to contemplate while driving. Maybe not the best choice, but it works for me. When I really need to rant, I go for a walk where no one can hear me and let it all out.

  5. A beautiful post Ju-Lyn. I contemplated life while walking, listening to the tree frogs and birds. Green shoots are coming up everywhere now, daffodils are blooming.
