Good bye Tanglin Halt
Wish I could spin my world into reverse just to have you back again.

Loving Husband’s old stomping grounds, shops were already vacated when we visited in February.
Built in the early 1960s, this neighbourhood is slated for redevelopment later this year. Bye bye, Tanglin Halt!

Indeed sad – more so for Loving Husband as he has so many memories from his childhood.

It is, Laurie, but I suppose it is the price of progress. I would have thought they would try to preserve some of the neighbourhood as it was one of Singapore’s first satellite “villages”.
