Happy Place, Happy Space
Some days I want the comfort of familiar routes. On others, a little detour is most welcome. Instead of following the Singapore River as I often do, I veered left up towards Fort Canning Park on this cool-ish morning. Previous visits have been in the dusky evenings, so it was a pleasant change to explore much earlier in the day.

Detouring a little is something I love to do, if there’s some spare time on my clock. Lovely park this is 🙂
And thank you very much for sharing this lovely sky capture with my challenge 🙂

Detouring leads to discovery, I’ve realised. You’re right though, only when we have time, and it seems like we’ve been strangely gifted with time in this crazy season. Silver lining.
Thank you for hosting the Weekend Sky – it is wonderful to see how different the scenery is under this sky we live under.

This is one of the first places I got to visit during my first ever trip to Singapore. I have not been here in more than a decade. I’d love to see it again when I go back.

They have spruced up this park a lot in the past few years – well worth a revisit!

Oh my goodness! That was when I had just returned from the US. We could have passed each other on the street, or shared space in the same restaurant!

That was my feeling too! I am amazed hat a view just a little elevation affords – I don’t think i stopped at Badang Terrace – I entered through the Clarke Quay side and must have walked straight past it! I will look out for it next time I am there! Thanks for the tip!
