The Last Photo, April 2021
Chanced upon these little flowers meandering my way through the Gallop extension of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Anyone have any idea what flower they are?

Note: these purple flowers are Common senduduk (Melastoma malabathricum), also known as Singapore rhododendron), a shrub native to Singapore; it took a while to find out but thank you for those who thought about it …. it inspired me to keep looking.
Seems like tiny sparks are pouring out of those Singapore rhododendrons 🙂

Love your purple flowers and I confess to a flash of envy when I saw your shoes. I’ve had two pairs from Saucony – they are so comfy, but I always manage to rub a hole in the meshy toe in at least one shoe.

Not to worry, Sue … I might have to stop a gardener and ask – I feel bad interrupting their work, but it looks like it has to be done in this case.

Hee hee! Thanks Jo. Sometimes I feel it’s a little cheeky to do log into so many challenges with one post … but sometimes it just all seems to fall together!
