The Changing Seasons: April 2021
One of my highlights for April was Becky’s BrightSquares. I had so much fun viewing Squares as well as posting them! Thank you for hosting us, Becky!
And on the foodie front ….
pizza balls (tomato powder is magic!) new bake: cashew lemon blondie 3-orange & lemon curd, cooked with bay leaves & cinnamon savoury pancake using sourdough discard handcrafted lentil tempeh to top my stir-fry
Wishing you all a safe and fabulous May!

Beautiful flowers Ju-Lyn. And of course I am salivating at your culinary endeavors. The curd has me intrigued — I’d never have thought to include bay leaves.

I got the bay leaf idea from a podcast I was listening to. I figured a little savory note would be delicious!

Ju-Lyn, you’re making me peckish with the photo array of tasty dishes … I’ve never heard of pizza balls but would love to try some. The flower photo is beautiful and I always find ones speckled with rainwater adds another dimension to the image! Crytal beauty! Hope you’re having a lovely start to May! xx

I didn’t realise pizza balls were a novelty in Singapore & the UK. It just always seemed the simplest way to use up excess pizza dough.
Thank you for the encouragement on the flower image – I did try to make the dew drops glisten!
