sun thrown in

Happy Place, Happy Space

It’s been raining. But we’ve had a few blazing hot sunny days too. It was one such day when I took the car in for its checkup. It was a lovely morning so I took a new route running home. Not many people on the pavement, save one person walking her dog.

☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

I had my 1st vaccine injection this week. Apart from a sore arm for a good day & a half, and feeling battered like I’d run a long, hard race, all is good.

  1. I got my first vaccine yesterday, in the afternoon. By the evening, my pulse rate was quite low and I was unable to push myself up from the bed.
    Feeling good now though 😀
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing sky captures with my challenge and apologies for checking it this late 🙂

  2. I had my first yesterday and all was a little chaotic at the brand new centre, but it’s a huge thing to organise and I’m grateful to have been there. Yes, a very sore arm, but so far, not feeling battered. Must be my wine anaesthetic 🙂 🙂

    1. Another reason to enjoy a glass (or two)!
Am so glad you are feeling ok, save the sore arm! On on to Dose #2!

Meanwhile, keep safe & well, and have a fabulous week!

  3. Congrats, Ju-Lyn, on getting your 1st vaccine shot! Very nice contrast of the red t-shirt against the lush green background in your photo. Thank you for the mention and for contributing to #WeekendCoffeeShare.

    1. Thanks so much, Su. We are very fortunate in Singapore that we don’t have to drive far and wide to receive our vaccinations – and that we are able to receive it so expediently once we indicate our interest.

    1. Thanks so much for visiting this Green Space with me! Good news is always welcome – particularly in light of all the turmoil still churning in so many places.

          1. Well, vaccinations here in Manila are on a roll – but mostly with Sinovac jabs. AZ doses ran out, but the Philippine government is sourcing more doses.

Health care workers, senior citizens, and those with co-morbidities are at the front of the queue for immunizations as of now. But non-medical essential workers (food delivery riders, law enforcement officers, F&B employees) are due to get their shots soon.

            1. Good to know that the programme is progressing. Getting enough doses is a challenge most places, I believe. We can’t choose which vaccine we receive – all luck of the draw
