Thanks for popping in for a visit, Jo – and for delighting in the song and mural with me.
I did have a good Easter – quiet, but meaningful.

Wow, beautiful peacock and feather. They appear almost 3D.
Love the song too, it’s been years since I had heard it.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Ju-Lyn

It is a very textured mural – more than most! It just reminded me of this song – and like you, I hadn’t listened to it in years as well. Thank you so much for hosting us!

I loved the song when I was a teen … listened to it countless times and often ended up in tears. I didn’t burst into tears this time, but it was a nostalgic listen.

Love the mural. I remember when Bright Eyes was released; from the soundtrack of the Watership Down movie. I’m so dating myself here.

I, too, remember it well. The song, and the movie, left me shamelessly in tears every time I listened & watched it.

Thanks for enjoying both with me, Lavinia. I love Art Garfunkel’s voice – and this song is particularly haunting and special because I loved the book so much.

Oh, my gosh! When I first saw the peacock feather, I thought it was made of clay. Fabulous! Art Garfunkel has such a lovely voice. Lovely photos, too.
